You are very right. No book rivals the Count of Monte Cristo. The Three Musketeers bored me.

I am in total agreement. Ever since I first read the story, I was enthralled. I have read the book over a dozen times and I believe it is one of the greatest stories of all time. The idea of vengeance is portrayed so well, and it is believable. I am sorry I have nothing negative to say about this novel. I do believe that Alexandre Dumas has got to be one of the greatest authors of all time. I have read all of his books and this one story will remain my favorite.

The COunt of MOnte Cristo was the best book I have read so far in my life. In fact, it leaves me to wonder why it is sometimes this forgotten book in the shadow of the Three Musketeers, when in fact it was much higher quality and a much better plot.
