a wrinkle in time

I just finished A Wrinkle in Time and was wondering, out of those who have read it...what was Calvins purpose in the novel?

I always wanted to read it when I was younger. I found a copy in an old box maybe 6 months ago and so decided to finally read it....

I hated it. I'm sure its a wonderful children's book but as an adult I had to work to finish it and its short. The plotline was just so basic it was like reading the phonebook.

wow...so it must be complicated to be good? the book may be intended for a younger audience, but its very imaginative nonetheless. by the way, thanks for answering my question! you should re read it
