I read this book once and disliked it alot. I simply could not understand the plot or the morals. But this year in school we began to read and analyze the book. At first I dreaded the idea of covering a book I already read and just simply did not like. But as we looked at the book and Twain's reasons for writing it, I began to love it. Twain makes fun of society for thier beliefs throughout the entire book making it ironic and funny. I began to see the deep reasons for Twains writing of this book. I think that people who dislike this book haven't look below the surface of the text. You have to read between the lines and think deeper. The storyline is there just to guide you to your own thoughts and questions.
