For all those who can't appreciate one of the most monumental pieces of American Literature and in fact of our day and age... You were obviously in the wrong level english class to begin with. Twains poignant messages of such themes such as the hypocrisy of slavery and relgion serves as reminder to all of his readers both in the 17th century to the present, of the essence of human nature. I have to admit, this book was not an easy read and still isn't as it can continually be analyzed from different levels. Just because you do not have the intellectual capacity to grasp the controversial and very real issues Twain presents doesn't mean you can bash this novel.
