OK, for any of you to think this is a poorly written, or bad book, just shows that you do not hold the level of intelligence required to grasp some of the character description that might not be, hmm, BLATANTLY OBVIOUS. Before you go insulting an American classic, learn how to apprecciate writing that uses symbolismand dialect to describe situations and characters.
