Actualy the fued is very realistic... Twain actualy based this fued from one that was occuring during his life time bettween the Mcoys and another family....<br>in the end I belive nearly 30 members of exteneded family were killed...<br>the law did not intervene because there was no police force in the western parts of the south at that time
