Although in many ways modern society would say that the Grangerfords are bad people I happen to believe differently. I think that their intentions are good but that they still have a sin in their life the family feud that will forever live on. Everyone in this world has their own beliefs and I respect that but, one also has to remember no matter what their belief no one is perfect. The Grangerfords happen to be Christians and they are hypocrites just like you and me. But my one question is, how can we criticize one who has a splinter in their eye when we have a log in ours?

to add to the comment about the Grangerfords being "bad" on the inside,
I must say that i strongly disagree. I think that the Grangerfords come off bad
from the outside apperance, but are actually good people..they take in Huck
after all...true they kill their neighbors, but i do not think that Twain
was trying to use this as a portrayel of the Grangerfords being bad people.
