Frank Ashmore played a double role. In the original minseries, The Final Battle, and the pilot episode of the weekly TV series that followed, he played Martin--a Visitor who headed the Fifth Column that allied with Earth's Resistance movement. Later in the weekly TV series, he played Martin's twin brother Phillip, who originally comes to avenge Martin's death that he believed the Resistance caused--but eventually comes to their side when the misunderstanding is cleared up.
