This is me and one of the babies my family has taken care of. (My mother has been working for Helsinki Social Services, taking care of babies whose parent's have been ill or just temporarily unable to take proper care of their children. Also there has been six babies who lived with us before they were adopted.)

In five years we had 19 babies, among them two pairs of identical twins At the moment my mother is back in her work as a kindergarten teacher, but she'll probably quit it and continue taking care of babies (and perhaps some older children too).
