Cattedral di Santa Maria del Fiore; The Duomo of Florence, Italy. Started in 1296 in the Gothic style. Designed by Amolfo di Cambio. The dome was engineered/ designed by Filippo Brunelleschi.

    The angle is interesting, and I guess the B&W works well with what's framed. But that church should be seen in color to do it justice. By the way, I climbed to the bell tower in the morning and the coupola (sp?) in the afternoon one day there. I think they're about 13 or 14 stories each.
