Flower
This is a neat photo; did you take it? I thought they were flowers behind some sort of glass - very interesting.
It's not a photograph, just a few layers of brushes and gradients, and yes, I made it. That was the intended effect- thank you >>
Wow, I am impressed - so you made it. How did you do it then? You say layers 'of' 'or' with brushes? I really think you have much talent. It looks like it is totally transparent. I like it a lot. Was it computer generated or drawn on a board or paper? I guess I am confused a bit here. Did you also make your avatar? I love the colors and the design intrigues me. Is it a collage? Can you post it larger in this album so I can see it better? Did you join our artists social group?
Thank you- still not very good though. Made it in Gimp (computer art program). The process: background layer with flower brushes-> large checkerboard brush layer at 30% opacity-> small checker brush layer at 20-ish opacity-> second flower brushes layer at 25-ish opacity-> splatter brush (don't remember the actual level for this)-> black/white gradient at 15-ish opacity. Made some of the brushes, but others (like the small checkers) were created by dA users. It was pretty fun. Yes, I also made my avy, but it was last year or so and I deleted it a few months ago (thank goodness for photobucket backup copy). I did join the artists group, still looking around .
