    -What are motivating factors?
-Who can Hamlet trust? Not trust?
-How does he percieve his world? Why?
    -What conflict(s) emerge(s)?
    -What/Who must he give up?
    - Is he changing? From what to what?
    - What choices does he have to make?

    - What is truth? Untruth?

These are very difficult questions to answer and require far too much thought to all be lumped together as "part of an assignment" - I don't trust the quality of this assignment....that being said.

What are the motivating factors (for Hamlet's change I'm guessing)?

Look at 1.2 and 1.5 - where you really get into Hamlet as a character and his first great change. Notice where he starts in 1.2 and where he ends in 1.5.

Who can Hamlet trust? Not trust?
How does he percieve his world? Why?

The two simple answers are, respectively, no one and nothing. Look at his relation with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern - their conversation in 2.2 should lead you to the answer you seek.

    -What/Who must he give up?
You could do a lot with this. Look at 3.1 (his relation with Ophelia)....or.....his soliloquy in 4.4

    - Is he changing? From what to what?
    - What choices does he have to make?
    - What are his goals?

These are all plot-based questions. Just trace the major events in the play that concern Hamlet.

    - What is truth? Untruth?
    I'm not touching this one.

Hope that helps some......I strongly disapprove of this assignment. If is meant to test understanding of the play, it is too vague. If it meant for deeper reflection, there is too much thrown will he nill he here. I cannot fathom what the educational goal in this is. That being said, they are great questions and could make great class discussions or individual essays, but not like this.

It definitely is a part of a 3 part Hamlet English project. Part one was "Who is he", part 2 is this one here, and part 3 is "What did he become". The bullets I posted above are what is required for the middle part, the change.

Alright...if they are meant to be conflated into one paragraph (or series of paragraphs) that makes a bit more sense....still too much. You could remove half those bullet points (especially the plot ones) and have a more meaningful answer. I'm not suggesting you do that becasue you're teacher probably won't approve.

Did some English teacher really say "percieve"?
