.. Also the movie changed the plot massivley and is really pretty awful and I this is coming from a fan of sappy old movies, musicals and Fred Astaire.

If its not too much trouble could you give me a quick outline of the movie plot. But its true that movies actually screw the plot up. Ithink the only movie that did justice to the book was A Good Woman based on Wilde's Lady Windermeres Fan ( Out Of Africa was good according to my dad, i haven't seen it).
