    Though they were aunt and niece in the original version her name was Tita...while in the New York Edition she is Tina.

    you are actually incorrect. james published different versions of the aspern papers in the uk as well as the us. he changed the name tita to tina in the revised version.

    the last comment is correct. she was originally Miss Tita and they were definitely aunt and neice, Tina being the neice and Juliana the aunt.

    You could not have had that discription more wrong...<br> First.. her name it TITA... not Tina... and they were not sisters... <br>they were neice and aunt!!
