Shakeapeare thoroughly enjoyed puns and makes a show of it in Act I, Scene II of "Shrew", when Petruchio instructs his servant, Grumio, to knock on the gate and announce his presence. The phrasing of Petruchio's order implies a pun, and Grumio takes advantage of it, to his demise.

These puns are throughout the play, especially where Grumio is concerned. Now that I have established the pattern for you and pointed you in the right direction, I'll let you do the hunting.

Act 2. Sex jokes. Puns. Just reread the scene with your mind in the gutter and they should jump out at you. Even if your assignment is over, do it. You will laugh!
