    Forever, to Surrender

    To give up, to surrender,
    They asked me to,
    They asked me to stop,
    Yet I won't.

    When you started crying...

    To stop, to discontinue,
They told me you were gone,
    They told me you left,
Yet you are lying right in front of me.

    When your heart stopped...

To will no more, to not strive,
    They dropped their hands,
    They let go of faith,
    Yet I didn't.

    When you held no life...

    I could not define this,
    I kept pressing,
    I willed you to live,
    Yet you didn't.

    Forever, to surrender to death...
To say that literature is dying is to say that the world is dying.

" 'The most important part of poetry is structure!' one student answers. ' No! The most important part of poetry is sound.' Another retorts. 'No! The most important part of poetry is rhyme!' says the last. 'No!" Says the teacher, ' The most important part of poetry is the meaning, no structure, nor sound nor rhyme alone can define poetry, combine them all and you get meaning.'

You seem to have a passion for composing poems. I read many of yours and find them appealing to my test.

“Those who seek to satisfy the mind of man by hampering it with ceremonies and music and affecting charity and devotion have lost their original nature””

“If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more the faculties of the mind! The mind of the sage, being in repose, becomes the mirror of the universe, the speculum of all creation.
