It's my friend's birthday coming up and I want to buy her a vampire book. She's already read Dracula and Interview with a Vampire, does anyone have any recommendations?
cheers

Buy her the sequel and stand-alone part of Interview,: The Vampire Lestat. There's also Peeps and its sequel.
Shall these bones live?
Or Stephen King's Salem's Lot.![]()
I believe Twilight is a good vampire book.
I suggest one of the Anne Rice's books, i think they are one of the best vampire novels.
Currently reading:
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon
Anne Rices "Memnoch the Devil" is a wondrously satisfying vampire tale with a twist- the "Devil" wants to recruit the vampire Lestat to be his "right hand man" in his ongoing war with the Creator.![]()
It's a bit obscure, but you might want to try Nancy Baker's The Night Inside or the sequel Blood and Chrysanthemums.
I think Anne Rice tends to ramble on a couple of times, I couldn't get through one of them without having to pause and consider things,
her oldest Vampire Novel i think are the best,
others would be La Banks, more modern,
Salem's Lot was pretty good,
"Yes, madam, I am drunk. But in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly."
-Winston Churchill
Hmm, good vampire books... I'm afraid you're out of luck. :-P
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
