It's all in the title! There are a lot of great poets and poems on this site, but I'm curious how many of us have been published, or are attempting to be published? I haven't been published, and don't think I'm ready for that yet. How many of you out there have got success stories to share?
I published a lot in the small press, poetry magazines in the late 90's. That type of publication is so satisfying when you get the magazine that contains your poetry, but hard on the money end, with the price of stamps, envelopes, etc. I still miss it, however. 50 rejection slips get wiped away by one acceptence letter. May try for a book of poetry someday.
