My final exam is going to be writing one comparative paragraph in class comparing Macbeth to either Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens or Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Now, the thesis statement is going to be given to me the day of the in class exam - and I am going to be given the chance to compare Macbeth to one of the books only - don't have to compare to both the books. If you guys could tell me are the common themes or ideas in between the novels or play (in the case of Macbeth), not comparing Brave New World to Oliver Twist but comparing Macbeth to both of these books. Deception is one - and this was a hint given by my teacher... any other themes or ideas that are common that I could study to prepare for the final exam and think of my examples that I would use in case the thesis is something I've already predicted with help from you guys of course :P. All help is appreciated.
