    Irony in the book

well done! What you have written is very much what the book is all about, I am studying it right now, and to begin with found it a bit slow moving, with too many advectives along the way. But once I got to chapter 4 I couldn't put it down. Chapter 12 is irony at it's best, as though the actual happenings are quite gruesome, the ironic style leaves you laughing. I think it is a great book and so much can be written about it.

The nearest train station to the Greenwhich Observatory is Maze Hill (not Maze as you suggest) so his geographical placement was, and still is, correct.

    huh?

This review is kind of off...<br><br>1. the book is dedicated to H.G. Wells and the dedication can be seen by clicking on "Chapter 1"<br><br>2. no gangsters visit the shop...there are no gangsters at all...one of the main points is that all the "anarchists" (except the Professor) are really double agents working for the government and spying on anarchists.<br><br>3. the bomb is at an observatory....Stevie and Verloc are seen coming out of the Maze Railway Station...
