has anyone read Pride and Prejudice
My fiance started to read it but she quit.
Its supposed to be popular with young women however.

yes, I've read pride n prejudice & thanx to online literature read it properly on the net. It's a wonderful book , the best written by Jane Austen (My fave literature author). I'm especially fond of the two main characters of Elizebeth and Darcy and the tension and conflict between them . It seems soo real that one can relate to it even now, with the present time too.
any reader of Jane Austun do reply back ASAP. Waiting for ur response.

I was so enthralled with the character Elizabeth, that I began to learn as much as I could about Jane Austen, in order to "get to know" Elizabeth better.
I remember wishing very much that she was a real person, and that I might be so forchanate as to meet her.

I have read Pride and Prejudice and it is one of my favorite books! I have also seen the movie and loved it as well, though I liked it better in the book. Has anybody else read Sense and Sensibility? It is also by Jane Austin.
I read S&S a few months back and really liked it, but not as much as P&P.
There is a similiarity of sorts between them.
I got about halfway through Emma, but it really seemed kind of shallow so I quit. Maybe I'll start it again sometime in the future.
