I just couldn't believe this thread hadn't been started. I'm a huge Austen fan, as far as I'm concerned you cannot go wrong with any one of her novels. This is probably my favorite one.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite Austen book, and one of my all-time favorite stories.
I have spent almost 50 hours watching 3 film versions of it of it.
I like the A & E version with Colin Firth,
and the new one with Kiera Knightly.
