I also find interesting the account of the conversationa style of Mrs Blockitt "she did not presume to state her nameas a fact but merely offered it as a mild suggestion.this manner of speech appears to be fashionable and yet here is dickens illustrating that disposition so many years previously.I offer these perceptions to contrast with previous remarksl
