Old Books.

I don't know much about antique books but my wife has a Bleak House book, volume 2 dated 1897. It states "printed from the edition that was carefully corrected by the author in 1867 and 1868". it has a serial number in it, 24870.and it also boasts "with original illustrations" some of which are protected with tissue paper. Does anyone know if it has any value? I would be very grateful for any information.

Thank You, TONY.
