Hello
Can any volunteer tell me what is the "Whale line" in question in chapter 60 please? I don't understand...

I would love to help you, but unfortunately, I do not have my copy of Moby Dick anywhere nearby. If you could quote the context, perhaps the paragraph, I could certainly help. I would call myself no expert on Melville's crown work, but adored the novel.

hi lalla, though i loathed the book, a whale line is simply the rope that is attached to the harpoon the whalers use to attack the whale.
