The Ballad of Reading Gaol

Since there isn't a thread for this, I thought I'd start one.

Is anyone else as touched by this poem as I was? I thought it was deeply haunting, especially the repeating chorus.

Yes, I love the poem. I'll comment more later, no time now, but I was dragged into the gaol, the loneliness and separation from the world evoked by the small patch of sky they see, and the sense that everyone kills the things they love, not actually in the sense of physical, but emotional murder.
