Peter Pans Official Sequel

Ok....so here's my problem.

I bought Peter Pan in Scarlet the day it came out.....I am now on page 112. I just can't get into it...the writing seems jolty and doesn't seem to follow on at all. Is it just me??

I loved the original.

Any thoughts??

Don't worry it's not just you. It has gaps and pieces that just don't fit for me. I don't think it feels very Pan-ish.
