My boss has asked me to find a quotation from Through the looking Glass, by the Red Queen, which would be something like "as many as I say there are"...
Could anyone help?! |

The Red Queen tells Alice that having merely one day at a
time is a "poor thin way of doing things." In winter the Red Queen has as many as five nights together, for the added warmth, and Alice counters that they'd also be five times as cold. That's when the Red Queen says "Five times as warm, and five times as cold, just as I'm five times as rich as you are and five times as clever!" |

I'm not quite sure that's the one I'm after!
I imagine it would be something along the lines of someone asking how many of something there are inthe Kingdom/Palace etc, and the Queen's reply being "As many as I say there are!" as in, what she says, goes. Thanks for the suggestion tho! |
