L.M.A. was always writing about "the song that never will grow old", for example in Rose in Bloom, when Phebe sang for the Orphans Concert, quote : "and sang the song that never will grow old."
Does someone know what song is she talking about ??? thanks and greetings from Germany |

My first guess would be "Home Sweet Home"
[Edit - I was right. The next paragraph "That went straight to the hearts of those who heard her, for there was something inexpressibly touching in the sight of this sweet-voiced woman singing of home for the little creatures who were homeless,"]
