Sophocles; A Very Elusive Fellow

Hi everyone! ,
I'm new to this site (obviously)but i just wanted to say hi. I had a couple of questions reguarding Sophocles, I have to write a three page biography about him and i don't know where to start. I've tried google, jeeves, etc. but they all give me different dates and information. so if anyone could please help me out even if you have the slightest bit of information it would be greatly appreciated, THANK YOU!

Welcome to the forum, supertoni021!

I will move this thread to Sophocles section where you might get more replies. I think if you quote wikipedia and/or encarta (or other respected information sources) for your resources, there would be little objection to the information you provide.

Hello, supertoni, welcome to the forums.
I, unfortunately, confess of not knowing a great amount about Sophocles, but I can say that this site carries a fair amount of helpful information to begin:

Good luck!
