    Time

    hey everyone,
I've read a few threads and I'm interested in getting some opinions on the representation of time throughout 1984.

I'd like to get some other interpretations on the way we're meant to view the past. If our interpretations are different to those who lived in London closer to Orwell's era. for example having never been to London i can't makes links from Orwell's London to the one he would have lived in.

Also if anyone has any view on why Mr Charrington's shop remains to be called 'Weeks' apart from what he describes in the book.

And last of all what did you find that symbolized the change of time?
    thanks
