anyone who says that this book is bad has no appreciation for good writing, or doesn't really understand it. if the book's not up to your standard of reading, that doesn't give you the license to debase it. this is a wonderful story with great subtext and character development. it gives us a peek through the window into the complexity of the human psyche.
