Arrow Notes From Underground & Alienation

Okay, so I'm looking for quotations that will aide me in talking about alienation, from the book Notes From Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Any help that you could provide would be excellent.

    Thanks

just bought it and haven't read it; sorry

". . . as the man once said, 'whores, pimps, gamblers, and sons of *****es', by which he meant Everybody. Had the man looked through a different peephole he might have said 'saints and angels and martyrs and holy men' . . ."

I've got just what you're looking for. This website organizes lots of quotes by theme.

Although alienation isn't a theme they identified, I'm sure you can find something under "suffering" or "isolation".

    Good luck!
