    presidential Ireland emigree

    I'm doing a paper in a variety of straightforward word associations, as in the example below. Or it might be an anagram, pun, rhyme, or oblique reference. To solve it, you may need to employ lateral thinking, or your knowledge of pop culture, American literature, or American history.

    My clue is presidential Ireland emigree

    Example: Clue: married at 1600 = Statue of Liberty
    Can someone help me with suggestions...many thanks!

    I'd be glad to help, if someone could just tell me how "married at 1600" is equal to "Statue of Liberty"??? I mean, I guess 1600 refers to the address of the White House, but other than that, I don't get it.
