Perception becomes a language... The far greater part of what is supposed to be perception is only the body of ideas which a perception has awakened....
Of course, this is exactly that happens to me. Of course some freak outs as a matter of fact when something happens to us.
Writing or creativity is something, indeed a very emotional act and when something churns up within we can not do or stay without kind of expressing them through pieces of art.
“Those who seek to satisfy the mind of man by hampering it with ceremonies and music and affecting charity and devotion have lost their original nature””
“If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more the faculties of the mind! The mind of the sage, being in repose, becomes the mirror of the universe, the speculum of all creation.
Depends whether it's an emotion or an idea.
If you're trying to conjure the right emotion to spark your creativity, I find that playing the right kind of music works wonders.
If you're trying to flesh out an idea, I would try getting a tape recorder or somesuch and blabber for a while, see if anything materializes. Best of luck. =)

Yeah, sometimes it takes time for the mind to wrap itself around the idea. Sketching the idea with words in the way you would draw an image really helps to clear the clutter around it.![]()
"He was nauseous with regret when he saw her face again, and when, as of yore, he pleaded and begged at her knees for the joy of her being. She understood Neal; she stroked his hair; she knew he was mad."

Writer's block is a killerGood luck!
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Yep, its called 'writer's block' - it stinks! The only thing that has helped me is writing consistently. Even when I wrote in a diary nearly every night, it didn't really spark my creativity. This year it has gotten better since I chose to take a poetry/creative writing elective.
Don't think too much and just write. What you write at first might sound really bad to you, but you honestly have to just get the juices flowing again.
Good luck!
oh it happens to me too, more often than i'd like it to, and makes me go![]()

...the smell of flowers through metal labyrinths.
ah, the hated phase of writer's block. been through it, kinda, but not too much, so i'm not really sure. anyway i did ask about it a bunch of times and someone told me that it's just a lapse in the pre-writing process, like maybe you're still a bit clueless on your topic, which i think may be true in your case since you already have an idea but just can't seem to write it down. i've had worse cases, where i couldn;t even generate ideas...
or it could be that you're just not in the mood. it happens.
