    The Mayor Of Caster Bridge

The book is very challenging to read, and may be hard to understand. But once getting the summary of the book it is very intresting and YOU may even get into it as I did. Whilst reading the book I realised that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, as this book is one of the best book's I have ever read. Will I read another book by Thomas Hardy? OF COURSE I WILL. And so should you to.

"The Mayor of Casterbridge"I must confess is truely quite captivating and interesting. My attention was arrested from the very beginning when the couple makes its way into Weydon Priors to the time I read Michael Henchard's will.Indeed,i believe this is a wonderful piece of writing where the hand of fate interplays with malignant destiny to ruin man who ofcourse is an architect of his misfortune is haunted by his very past.I read this work while in the high school and till date i teach it to advanced level students in my country.Reading it over and over will definitely acquaint you with actual life's happenings for the notion of timelessness and universality is very well handled.i would advice many people to read it too.I think Thomas Hardy is a great writer par excellence.Jum Francis
