Steam came like an elephant,

my touch, an animal
composed entirely of thirst.
Like desert rain, the force
of you quenched and annihilated
every parched stone.
What sea does not come to rest, eventually?
What heaving vault will not,
like a sloshing bowl, become settled?

I love the potential of this piece Lykren. I was hoping to link the dawn of silence, stepping and stepping into the world in the same silent way those elephants move. A nice read nevertheless.
