Writer's Block of a Grandfather Clock
If space can crank the motor of time
and ride the pendulous path of precision,
If sweat can book a flight from my skin
to drown blue whales in bland soda
If grandpa's pose can tell time to build his coffin
might an old clock tickle my neurons to think?
