I have had to write an essay for my English class also. I found that Silas Marner was hard to get into but when I finally hit part two i couldn't put it down. My essay is over how his character develops throughout the novel and how Eppie helps him. Good luck to anyone writing an essay over the novel. It isn't very easy!!
