    No Excuse List

If you want to get laid, go to college. If you want an education, go to the library. --Frank Zappa

I thought this would be of good interest to many of you. Remember it's never too late to be interested in academia! It's more open now than ever before.

Yea, I agree. Of all the people I've met in college, we only talked of doing such acts! But it never happened. College is such a lie.

I hated college though, I do think educating yourself is a better outlet.

Nice suggestion regarding the course. My friend always raves about the Khan Academy.

As someone who pursued the self-education outlet for four years after high school, I can attest to how fulfilling it is.

You'd be very surprised, though, at just how terrible it looks on your resume.

I've had great fun with the Ted Talks. There are some real gems over there. In fact, if I could figure out how to get tickets, I'd like to see the filming in person.

The tickets are exorbitantly expensive, in the several thousand dollar range.

Its annoying. I have a knowledge on certain subjects equalling university professors but I am mostly self-taught and therefore just another pretty face and body to be used in manual labour.
