Very familiar to me, to my own night drive experiences... love it, it's so evocative in its little words. The only thing here is that 'driving' does not apply to restaurants and parking lots, maybe you could make a tiny little change (or is it my English again? in which case, please do ignore!) - ah, and thanks for sharing this, goes without saying!
Whoa, what happened here? I meant to comment on this earlier, but now it's gone.
Anyway, just wanted to say that this really captured the feeling of driving at night, something I enjoy very much. I loved the part about the radio and being tethered to the airwaves. I also like to drive in silence at night, preferably with the windows down if the weather is right.
I also hope the part about fast food lights and used car lots was a reference to the US and not Southern France. I'd hate to think of fast food restaurants invading such a wonderful country but, alas, it's probably already happened.

Weren't that YOU, oh JACK, who remonstrated with ME about deleting poems and thus depriving fellow poets of the first reading and possible inspiration??? PLEASE RETURN FAST WITH YOUR UN MORE ROUND!
Wish I could've seen it, now I will have to imagine it, no telling where that will lead...
waiting for the eastern glow...bring it back...bring it back
I didn't even have a chance to read this one...![]()

I have always hated when I have deleted a poem and as a result got many comments so thought I would post this to piss you off my friend![]()
For those who believe,
no explanation is necessary.
For those who do not,
none will suffice.
