I think the plot is good and partly original. The author uses Aramis to give the book a very exciting feeling. The movie is also very good staring, Leonardo DiCaprio

This novel about 'le Mousquetaires', the twins and Dumas's story-telling of wanting to know more about the 'mystrious prisoner' in the bastille is absolutey awesome. The way Dumas encaptures the whole essence of Aramis's conspiracy is rather like that of the 'the Count of Monte Cristo's' Villefort and what he does to remove Dantes from Mercedes life. I love this author because it has similar elements as Shakespeare. You should try and read this novel it will encapture you from start to 'finito'.
