Any Chance we can get Jean Auel's books up? I'm really dying to read that 4th book of her Earth's Children series; The Plains of Passage... thanks![]()

I don't mean to sound snobbish or elite, but is this classic literature?
I cannot live without books.

Snobbery? Elitism? Don't know about that, I would not classify Auel's work as classic in connexion with say 18-1900's literature, but she does deal with morality and evolution and historical change, and her research was top-notch. Using scientific fact to create fiction is always difficult, I do think she is in a class of her own. It's amazing reading, and usually I am loathe to read this genre.
