This is a good topic, Bee.

I've finally summoned the strength to put my mom out of my life. I'm going to put her into an assisted living home, and then I'm going to give my brother as her contact. They can call him, not me. It will be 2 or 3 months before the transition can be made, but I'm so ready to let go of this heavy burden of being "on call" for her.

Right now being free of my mother is the only satisfaction I can think of.

The only thing I want for Christmas is to be free of my mother.

your mother held you 9 months inside her belly awaiting for you to come out so you could make her life shine
your mother never felt that you were a burden to her
your mother never slept a full night when you were so little
your mother never tasted a meal before she would put food into your stomach
your mother fed you
your mother cared about you
your mother bathed you
eventhough i dont know your mother as well as you do but the term mother is universal
so quit the ridicule and what you call strenght is called ungratefulness.
