Children are expected to obey their parents because most parents only have the child's best interests at heart. Even though it might not seem like it at times, but everyone needs a guide of some sort, and as the parents are the people that gave us life and watch us grow, it's only natural that we be expected to obey them. Unless the parents are abusive or neglegent, than an acception is made, and the child should do everything in their power to get away. But if the child comes from a loving family, then they should obey because a loving parent has only the child's wellbeing and safety in mind. Love ya Mum and Dad!

You seem to be a very wise young person...who has a lot of respect. I admire that.

Remember this, my friends: there are no such things as bad plants or bad men. There are only bad cultivators.
