The night has fallen - so what!
I am angry with it, and it is its fault
that I am still awake, but not with him.
Couldn’t the night have waited,
I am not ready to dream?
It could have fallen on another city,
it could have made a little pause...
He had promissed to come before the night falls,
the night could’ve fallen later, of course.
Why hasn’t it fallen on another country?
Hasn’t it undestood that the day is him to bring?
It could have walked along some romantic beach,
to listen those famous singers sing.
And me, it could have outflanked,
it could have made this day a bit longer,
‘cause him to come I wait...
But the night has fallen,
and now it’s late.
