Hello, I'm new on these forums but feel quite at home already. This is the first "installment" of a storyline I'm working on, I refuse to call it a chapter of a novel as of yet because I'm not sure what it'll work out to be. Hope you enjoy it! And before you comment on it, please be aware that the tense changes and word repetitions are fully intentional and serve a purpose.
