@marcolfo : Morricone is brilliant.
I love this topic. Film scores are a great passion of mine. Film scores, in some cases, simply move me to tears. It needn't be even a sad song, but simply the build up or the delicacy of a score. It's amazing.
My favourites of all time (in no particular order):
- The Young Victoria (2009)
- Malèna (2000)
- Atonement (2007)
- Joyeux Noël (2005)
- Doctor Zhivago (1965)
- Nuovo cinema Paradiso (1988)
- The Secret Garden (1993)
- Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001)
- The Prince of Egypt (1998)
- Anastasia (1997)
- Lord of the Rings
- The Godfather (1972)
- Romeo and Juliet (1968)
