Need some ideas for English Essay!

OK the prompt is:
'Emotions and relationships are as real to us as our material circumstances.'

Any ideas for an expository, persuasive or imaginative piece of writing that i could do? I only need to select one form of writing and I would probably do my best work if it's an imaginative piece, but ideas for any form of writing would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
