who am I but a stitch in time

I was able to post on Monday, so I figure things are working again. Perfect poem for a writer's block, Tailor!

Esther offers "bank" for this week's writing prompts: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2026/07/...g-prompts-122/

    Piggy Bank

I put my penny in the bank
    to save for rainy days.
The years went by all bright and dry
    so there my penny stays.

    Later...

    a quiet grace

    watched a red-tailed hawk
    bank and turn, effortlessly
    a blazing sun beams

It is amazing how graceful God made all His creatures, Tailor.

Esther offers "rich" for this week's Writing Prompt: https://estherchilton.co.uk/2026/07/...g-prompts-123/

    Daily Bread Rich

Midas was a tad too rich
    and Lazarus was not.
    And I? Well, I don't really care.
His daily bread is always there
and that is what I've got.

    Enjoyed this image!
